Realest gets personal when Ennis unintentionally captures the start and end of her first marriage via documenting her photo-subjects. She pulls a couple tarot cards before the first session to help calm her nerves. They warn she would have to choose between keeping the project or her husband. This storyline is only accessible in full to the one individual who acquires both the print edition and 2 Overdue Sculptures Just For Us.

Half anthropological, half introspective. Realest is an independent thesis abstracting traditional academic research practices with contemporary art outputs. Ennis photo-documents 30 participants on 35mm film, each for a minimum of 24 consecutive hours. Following a trail of good energy leads her to iconic individuals in the American Hip-Hop industry – gateway to the broader music / entertainment industry and Black Culture.

Dave Dissertation builds from the conclusion of Realest [thesis]. Ennis embarks on a sequel to intertwine narratives of outer and introspection. Her first motive is to convert personal sexual energy into means of genuine connection with others–celibate. With Dave by her side, she births an alter-ego named 🎾ㅃ (tennisballbb). Together, they embrace discomfort.

🎾ㅃ THE FOODPORNSTAR is a spicy digital dominatrix who loves leaning into discomfort. She produces various mixed-media works by merging food and feet fetish with comedy into offbeat short films, sculptures, still-lifes, etc. 

Ennis’ uses 🎾ㅃ for personal development through method acting and BDSM. The character story arch is a reflection of shuttling behaviours between primary ego. Personal identity is questioned in depth.

Season One concludes with a breakthrough when she learns to process the PTSD of being raped through performance art.

Episodes are significantly longer (up to 3 hours), more streaming, more collaborations, bigger productions. She uses props from sets to create a sculpture series that provides an immersive experience for dedicated worshippers (5ensory 5cuptures).

Improv video series. Each episode is prompted by a foodgasm, music, art, or whatever excites 🎾ㅃ/Ennis during her day. She’s on when she’s on.

Production naturally evolves per season as 🎾ㅃ learns to adapt to digital / sexual discrimination on different platforms, filming for multiple formats, deals with mental health related to sex. Onlyfans and feet happens to trend due to the pandemic. Perfect timing with the peak of FFF. Guest actors, chefs, directors, live audiences and other sitcom television elements are conceptually baked in.  🎾ㅃ flirts with more than the fourth wall. Ennis collaborates with renowned chef David Gunawan to create a new dessert based on her favorite childhood snack–Injeolmi rice cakes. The recipe is accompanied by an article introducing the Dave Dissertation and a photo-editorial of 🎾ㅃ.

Ennis recruits her best friend Hindz who hates feet but is an incredible cinematographer to document the process.  At the end of the article is a mysterious QR code which leads to Going Through Glory.

Song written and performed by muser. At the time, they both agreed it was the best song he’d ever written. Did he know about her affinity for grapefruits beforehand? Months later, musers had their first major break / fight and he gave Ennis the song as a peace offering. In total, she has 3 files: a vocal/guitar track, an instrumental loop and a text message with incomplete lyrics. This was muser’s first and only take of the song.

An innocent first-attempt to observe Miami Art Basel turns into an absolute extravagant chain of events. Documenting artist Jona Cerwinske on 35mm film. Ennis finds a moment of peace while sitting for Mr. Overton Loyd (Parliament Funkadelic). He draws her portrait as the final piece in Cerwinske’s live graffiti art for Miami Art (not Miami Art Basel).

Ennis introduces a new branding element, the Eyes of Good Fortune. Strategically placed for energetic protection and projection. She wears the coat to embed energy until the chosen patron acquires it. Dry clean only.
